How brokers are ranked

Bulls & Horns ranks forex and CFD brokers by real engagement, not paid opinion. Every profile is sourced from official regulator registers and the broker’s own disclosures, dated, and open to correction. This page explains exactly how a broker earns its place.

01Sourced from the public record

Every broker profile is built from public sources: the official regulator registers, the broker’s own site, and dated news. Bulls & Horns lists 458 brokers and does not invent license numbers, spreads or claims. A fact that cannot be sourced is not published.

02Regulation is checked against the register

A regulator is recorded on a profile only when the broker appears on that authority’s register. Bulls & Horns recognises reputable authorities such as the FCA, CySEC, ASIC, NFA, BaFin, FINMA, MAS and others. 272 brokers on the board hold at least one of these. Offshore-only registrations are shown but do not earn a dedicated ranking page.

03The order is engagement, not opinion

The public ranking order is set by real engagement: the outbound clicks each profile sends to the broker’s official site. Clicks are throttled per visitor and filtered for bots, so the order reflects genuine interest rather than raw traffic. Bulls & Horns does not score brokers on a private editorial scale.

04One paid seat, clearly labelled

A single Featured seat sits above the board each quarter and is the only paid placement. It is always labelled. Paying does not change any other broker’s position, and the rest of the ranking cannot be bought.

05Dated and re-checked

Every profile shows when it was last verified. Developments are dated and carry a source link. When a regulator status or a fact changes, the profile is updated and the date advances.

06Corrections and removals

Any broker or person can request a correction or removal from any profile. Requests are reviewed and sourced corrections are applied. The goal is an accurate record, not a promotional one.

How the ranking works

How does Bulls & Horns rank forex brokers?

Brokers are ranked by real engagement, measured as the outbound clicks each profile sends to the broker’s official site. Clicks are throttled per visitor and bot-filtered. A single labelled Featured seat is the only paid placement, and it does not move any other broker.

Can a broker pay to rank higher?

No. The only paid position is the labelled Featured seat above the board. Paying for it does not change any other broker’s rank, and no other placement is for sale.

Where does the regulation data come from?

From the official regulator registers and the broker’s own disclosures. A regulator is recorded only when the broker appears on that authority’s register. License numbers are shown as published, never invented.

How current is the information?

Every profile shows a last-verified date, and developments are dated with a source link. Profiles are re-checked and the date advances when a fact changes.

How can a broker correct or remove its profile?

Each profile has a request link for corrections and removals. Requests are reviewed, and sourced corrections are applied.
